It is a musical ensemble consisting entirely of a standard range of brass instruments, generally including percussion.
These instruments are cornets, a flugel horn, tenor horns, baritones, euphoniums, trombones and basses (tubas). Common brass instruments not normally used in a brass band are trumpets and french horns.
