Players

Our players are all aged under 19, with our youngest player currently being 11 years old, although if there's anyone younger who is interested in joining a brass band you'd be welcome to come along! Our players come from far and wide, some from Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. There is a wide range of abilities within the band, from players who have only been playing a year or so to players who have been playing for many years and have passed their Grade 8. Many of our players play for different senior bands, but special note should be taken of  Richard Baker, Alice Norman, Sarah Lenton, Mat Hampton & Jo Stephenson who are all currently members of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.

We usually use a traditional Brass Band format within the band, but you'll have to come and see us on stage to find out what we mean by usually!
